I’m not racist but, is the most common phrase to start saying something racist. For anti-racism organisation Hand in Hand we made an online video that started with a woman saying “I’m not racist but”, followed by every possible racist cliché. Luckily, people could shut her up by disliking the video. With every dislike, the video became a few milliseconds shorter. Until she only said: “I’m not racist”. In only one day, we got over 35.000 dislikes. Which, for once, was a good thing.
