Every year, Belgian radio channel Studio Brussels hosts a music talent show for young bands. This year, we gave the winners the biggest gig of their lives: opening for their music heroes. We put pre-rolls of the bands before videos of superstars whose music looked like theirs. This way, young R&B talent Kai Wén became the opening act for Kai Wén. And The Lighthouse opened for Coldplay, linking them immediately to an audience we knew would like their music.
